Hello!
Today was the first day of my new work experience in the bakery.
The work experience starts at 9:30am and finishes at 2pm. At first, I put the cards with the prices next to the loaves of bread, cakes, and biscuits. Then another girl came who is doing her work experience there as well. But today it was her 5th day, so she already has some experiences. We did the dishes together, in the meantime Becca, she runs the bakery, finished a wedding cake. After that, we had to take down the ingredients and their companies, because if something is wrong with the cakes Becca can take a look with the products she used. Before the lunch break, we organized the boxes with the decoration things and folded the boxes for the cakes. After the lunch break, we stamped the bags for customers with the bakery label. Besides that, she showed me how the cash register works. Last but not least, she showed us how to make flowers, and then we made the flowers for a confirmation cake. Becca said that this week was really busy because it is confirmation time and the wedding cake, but next week we can do more like decoration and baking. It was a good day and it was so cool that there is another girl, because we talked all the time.
